Department of Art, Media and Performance

The Media Minor introduces students to the wide spectrum of media practices in the 21st century, cultivating consumers and practitioners who can navigate today's media landscape and shape its future. Spanning journalistic rigour, creative media production, and artistic experimentation, it places strong emphasis on emerging technologies and the intersections of communication, culture, and digital media. Working across photography, digital video, interactive media, and audio storytelling, students build the analytical insight and creative expertise to develop compelling narratives and contribute to contemporary media practice.
